Dennis Duffin, Vice President
Dennis first came in contact with the St Louis Group through the purchase of his own business from the group. Years later after selling the business he still remembered how well their system of business ownership transfer worked. Believing in a product is critical in any sales organization, and Dennis believes in the St Louis Group methods and practices. He joined the group and after many years as a top producer he has taken the role of Vice President. His mission is a simple one, help his brokers any way he can in helping buyers and sellers attain their goals.

Ed has over 20 years experience as owner of several small businesses, as well as 8 years experience as a business education instructor at both the high school and college level. His background is in real estate, finance and consulting. He spent the first part of his career as a Real Estate agent before owning and operating a residential mortgage brokerage, and ultimately going to work for a national mortgage banker. Having sold his last business through St. Louis Group, he understands the complexity of selling a business and truly enjoys the process of helping buyers and sellers get the excellent service they deserve. Mr. Canavan has over 10 years of business ownership. Brian learned at a youthful age to understand and respect entrepreneurship. Growing up in a family business, Dave learned at an early age what it takes to be a successful business owner. This included employee management , customer service, marketing, and finances. After receiving a degree in electronics, Dave joined IBM’s Product Development Research Center in New York. Then joined AT&T Engineering Department in St. Louis. Started his own business that he managed for 20 years, during that time, Dave employed between 20 to 40 people with a lot of them being long time employees. Dave has been with Saint Louis Group Sunbelt since 1998, along with Dave's success with the company he has received many letters of appreciation from the people he has helped over his years as a business broker. Cindy Munoz has been with us since 1997, coordinating business closings, she:
- Contacts all parties to begin coordinating the closing
- Verifies the business being purchased is in good standing with the secretary of state
- Verifies the business is a corp., llc. Or sole proprietorship
- Verifies who the officers or members of the business are
- Verifies the business is current on paying their sales/use and withholding tax
- Verifies there are no liens or ucc filings against the business assets, if there are we get the payoff amounts in the form of a letter from the bank the lien has been filed and we pay these liens off at closing
- Works with the bank, seller, buyer, broker and closing attorney to coordinate items needed to complete bank loan (if applicable) and closing
- Coordinates counting of inventory of the business generally the night before closing the following day
